Cancellation Policy

Your reservation is important to us at Color Bar 51. As always, we recommend pre-booking appointments to ensure you have the most convenient time reserved. While we understand that occasionally you will need to change your reservation, we request that you give us a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for changes to your appointment time.

Given the high demand of our stylists’ time, we often operate from a waiting list, and having late cancellations and changes to the schedule limits our ability to best serve our guests. Should cancellations or changes to services within a 24-hour period happen more than once, we regret that you will be prohibited from scheduling future appointments with us and will only be able to schedule for the day of.

Courtesy confirmations of appointments help our guests remember their reservation times. Based on your preference, we will call, text or email you to confirm your reservation date and time at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. However, if we are unable to reach you directly, please understand that it is still your responsibility to remember your reservation. If you are unsure of your reservation time, we welcome you to call us with any questions.

We do, of course, understand emergencies and unavoidable, last minute situations arise, and we can work with you when they do. However, if last minute cancellations and no shows become habitual, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% for same day cancellations and 100% for no shows.

We look forward to seeing you at your appointment. To secure your appointment date we will need a credit card to keep on file. Your card will not be charged before services are rendered unless you cancel or make changes to your appointment outside of our cancellation policy.

Appointment

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment. We schedule appointments according to our specialists’ availability and specialty. If you are running late, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Arriving late will likely limit the time allocated for your service; it will lessen the effectiveness and most importantly your pleasure and enjoyment. As a courtesy to all guest our services are completed as scheduled. Cancellations of all services require a 24-48 hour notice. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.

Services

Color Redos - When a clear mistake (not a change of heart after service(s) are completed) occurs during a service and the agreed upon color outcome is less than satisfactory and addressed within 48 hours of original service. The color redo must be booked within one week (7 calendar days) of original service with the original stylist at no additional charge *as long as the end goal of your hair color remains within the original agreement.

Product returns

We will gladly exchange any Hair Care product with a receipt within two weeks of purchase. Any tools and hairbrushes may not be returned. Those sales are final.

Gift Cards

No refunds will be given for gift card purchases. Cards must be present for redemption.
